About Christian

Christian Meteor is an author and freelance writer who specializes in the strange and unusual. His professional writing career began in 2016 when he wrote his first story for a magazine on a 4,000-mile road trip to The Grand Canyon, inspired by Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Since then, Christian has published three books; two memoirs and one sci-fi horror. He also written articles for a variety of magazines including Self-Reliance, Disc Golfer Magazine, Experience Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Magazine, Backwoodsmen, Psychedelic Scene, and Featuring Fabulous.

His first novel, The Patterns of Existence, was published in April of 2021 and tells over a dozen coming-of-age stories that are layered with philosophy and adventure. Just over a year later, Christian published the sequel, The Subsequent Fate.

Between these two works, readers will enjoy over 110k words of fast moving, bizarre stories that were written to be enjoyable both on their own and as pieces of the full anthology.

While telling immersive stories and painting vivid pictures with words are the pieces of writing Christian loves, his deepest passion is articulating the enigmatic parts of the human experience. This is what he hopes to achieves with all of his readers; bring them into the bizarre, enchanting, and unnerving.
